Muscat, (IINA) : The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Capital Market Authority, is will host the 2nd meeting this year of the Arab Forum of Insurance Supervision and Control Bodies on Wednesday, with the participation of representatives of regulatory bodies from Arab countries.
According to the Oman News Agency (ONA), the forum aims to strengthen the supervision and control operations of insurance, enhancing cooperation among insurance supervision bodies, and control bodies in the Arab insurance markets.
The meetings will look into the insurance industry in the Arab world, in addition to mechanisms to enhance its role in Arab economies by reviewing the necessary standards to regulate insurance business in the market in line with international standards.
