ALIGARH March 11,2023: The Institute of Persian Research, Aligarh Muslim University, in collaboration with the Department of Hindi, is organizing a one-day national seminar on “Interaction of Indian Languages with Persian Language and Literature” on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Prof Mohd Usman Ghani, Director of the institute said that the inaugural session of the seminar presided over by Prof Shaikh Aquil Ahmad (Director, NCPUL, New Delhi), will be held at the Arts Faculty Lounge at 10.30 am.

Prof Mohd Ashiq Ali (Chairman, Department of Hindi) informed that Prof Azarmi Dukht Safavi (Advisor, Institute of Persian Research) will deliver the inaugural speech while Prof Abdul Bismillah (Former Head, Department of Hindi, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi) will deliver the keynote address. Prof Arif Nazir (Dean, Faculty of Arts) will be the guest of honour.
