Muslims donate 33 ton wheat for Amritsar Golden Temple langar

The Muslims of Malerkotla in Sangrur district of Punjab donated 33 tons of wheat to the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The wheat was handed over to the temple authorities for human consumption in the langarkhana. Nasir Akhtar, president of Sikh-Muslim Sanjha Manj, officially handed over the wheat.

A man named Ashok Singh Garcha tweeted on, Friday. The date in the picture is also Fridays. Mukhtiar Singh, the chief manager of the temple, welcomed the delegates at the Golden Temple. Siropa and honorary attire were handed over to them.

In the post with the photo, Ashok wrote about donating this wheat. And the picture shows a group of people from the Muslim community sitting and eating in the langarkhana. Ashok said that the Muslim brothers who came to donate wheat took part in the langarkhana. And their food is being served by Sikh servants.

This image has already gone viral. In less than 24 hours, the post received more than 50,000 likes. Shares and comments go hand in hand with that.
