Bhartiya Skill Development University reaches out to international universities at EAIE exhibition

 Helsinki, Finland: 26th September India’s first pure skill university Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU), Jaipur is attending the European Association for International Education (EAIE) conference. The university has also set up its stall at the conference where delegates will interact with various universities in attendance. BSDU is the only university from Rajasthan participating in the conference which is being held in Helsinki, Finland. Around 6,000 delegates from 95 countries are participating in the conference.

At the conference, delegates from the university, Dr. (Brig.) Surjit Singh Pabla, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ravi Kumar Goyal, Director, Dr. CK Pabla and Dr. Anurag will interact with delegates from other universities and highlight the key features of BSDU. They will also be informing others about the courses BSDU offers along with its curriculum which requires students to spend every alternate semester in industry, getting practical training. BSDU will also be in talks to sign MoUs with some international universities. The Indian Ambassador to Finland, Vani Rao, also visited the stall and presented the university with a certificate of participation.

Dr. (Brig.) Surjit Singh Pabla, Vice Chancellor, BSDU, said, “It is a great opportunity to bring international attention to BSDU. Being the first pure skill university of India, we have a lot to offer, not just to Indian students, but also to students from other universities. This opportunity can give us the chance to join hands with international universities and educational institutes, which can help our university and our students get more exposure.”

The 31st European Association for International Education (EAIE) is being held over the duration of four days, from 24th to 27th September at the Messukeskus Expo and Convention Centre in Helsinki, Finland. This year’s conference theme is ‘encompassing all voices’. EAIE IS a non-profit, member-led organisation serving individuals actively involved in the internationalisation of their institutions through a combination of training, conferences and knowledge acquisition and sharing. It equips academic and non-academic professionals with best practices and workable solutions to internationalisation challenges and provide a platform for strategic exchange. EAIE partners with key stakeholder organisations and institutions to promote its membership interests and advance international higher education in Europe and the rest of the world.

What is BSDU:

Bhartiya Skill Development University is a skill development university which is working towards bringing excellence to the skill development industry in India by providing an apt environment by providing proper training, quality infrastructure, and well-designed curriculum to students and making them skilled by training them to be ready to compete at international levels. Students get trainings under experts and gain experience of working properly with machinery. The university provides practical training to students and follows the 1 students= 1 machine motto to give each individual better training. BSDU works towards providing students training for the manufacturing industry and encourages them to build a career in manufacturing.
