Pune – January, 2015: Indira College of Engineering and Management under the aegis of Indira Group of Institutes organized 8th Indira International Innovation Summit and HR Excellence Awards on 23rdJanuary, 2015. The summit was an endeavor by the leading educational institute in Pune to expose academia to the leading edge innovation practices from across the world. The event acted as a remarkable platform for intellectual exchange of ideas between the industry giants and hundreds of aspiring entrepreneurs.
The event was graced by Chairperson of Indira Group of Institutes Dr. Tarita Shankar and Group Director Prof. Chetan Wakalkar. The Chief Guest for the evening was Member of Parliament Hon. Shri Anil Ji Shirole. On this occasion he quoted “Innovation is the key to success for the youth of today and a major necessity to build a strong nation”.
The 8th Indira International Innovation Summit and HR Excellence Awards witnessed some eminent personalities from various industries who had contributed tremendously to the society. They shared their experiences and insights with the students and motivated them to imagine things in their own way and encouraged them to innovate and invent.
