by | May 25, 2021

UAEDubai, (IINA) : Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) has arranged an Umrah trip for 70 blue-collar workers, WAM reported.

The move is part of the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility as well as towards improving employee job satisfaction, and its wider role in supporting the #Year of Giving. This initiative includes employees, in two batches, who cannot afford to go and have not performed Umrah before.

“It gives us great pleasure to be able to organize a spiritual trip for our staff. Supporting our staff for this Holy trip is just a small effort to make a greater contribution to society and support the Year of Giving. With Ramadan being close, this is a perfect opportunity to extend our support to our staff and the country in general,” said Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.

“At Empower, we are committed to supporting low-income groups regardless of their nationality, language, and ethnic backgrounds as directed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai,” he concluded.
