Tunis, (IINA) : Tunisia’s National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) will organize an ‘Islam and Human Rights’ exhibition’ and other events at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in Tunis in March 2017.

NHRC said that the security challenges and human rights in the Arab region’ conference in Doha in 2014 had received considerable attention from the general secretariat, Qatar’s The Peninsula newspaper reported.

Director of the Legal Affairs at the NHRC Jaber Al Huwail praised the committee’s participation as an observer in a recent second conference of human rights officials at Arab interior ministries in Tunis.

He said this forum is held annually by the council to follow up recommendations of the international conference on security and human rights challenges, held in Doha.
