Hanoi, Vietnam (NNN-Bernama) : South Korean President Moon Jae-in hoped to enhance economic and diplomatic cooperation with Indonesia, during a phone call with Indonesian President Joko Widodo on Thursday, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported, citing South Korea’s Yonhap news agency.
Moon noted that South Korea and Indonesia have constantly increased exchanges and cooperation since the two forged a strategic partnership in 2006 and hoped that Indonesia will support South Korea to accelerate the partnership with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to a higher level.
He affirmed that the South Korean Government will enhance relations with the 10 member countries of the ASEAN, an important partner of South Korea.
