Berlin, (AG/IINA) : The Saudi Embassy in Berlin said on Monday that the Kingdom is closing the government-sponsored King Fahd Academy in Germany, Arab News reported.
The embassy stated that the academy, located in Germany’s former capital city of Bonn, will be closed in early 2017. It said that the decision was taken as part of Saudi Arabia’s effort to provide the best education for its citizens.
The embassy said: “Germany is known to have one of the best educational systems in the world … therefore our country sees no need to have its academy in Germany.”
