She observed this year‘s occasion of ‘International Women Day’ season has been specially very active for celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievement of women which is commendable for the women’s progress and social development globally. “However, the purposeful action for accelerating gender parity is needed. The women progress has been slowed in many places across the world. The concrete steps are needed for the quick progress of women around the world,” articulated Sameera Aziz.
She said that men and women should pledge to help women to achieve their ambitions, they have to challenge conscious and unconscious bias, should call for gender-balanced leadership and value women and men’s contributions equally.
