Qatar provides $40 million to UN humanitarian officeDoha, (IINA) : Qatar Fund for Development (QFD) has signed an agreement with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) to provide a multi-year financial contribution of $40 million to OCHA.

The agreement was inked on the sidelines of the 2017 Doha Forum by QFD’s Director-General Khalifa bin Jassem Al Kuwari, and UN Undersecretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Stephen O’Brien, said Qatar News Agency (QNA) Sunday.

It was signed in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani and Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations Amina Mohammad.
