Rabat : The minutes of the Coordination Meeting between the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) were signed at the ISESCO’s headquarters in Rabat on Wednesday, under the supervision of ISESCO Director General Dr. Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri.

The minutes were co-signed for ISESCO by Mr. Mohamed Ghemari, director of the Executive Council, General Conference and Specialized Ministerial Conferences, and for the OIC, by Ms. Mahla Talebna and Mr Irfan Shaukat, respectively director general for Cultural, Social and Family Affairs and director general for Science and Technology.

The minutes featured the agreement to the arrangements and organizational procedures for the 7th Islamic Conference of Environment Ministers (ISESCO headquarters, Rabat, 25-26 October 2017); the 10th Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers (Khartoum, 21-22 November 2017), to be held as part of Sennar’s celebration as Arab Region’s Culture Capital for 2017; and the 5th Islamic Conference of Ministers in Charge of Childhood (ISESCO headquarters, Rabat, 18-19 December 2017).

The minutes also covered the arrangements and organizational procedures for the 15th Meeting of the Consultative Council in Charge of Implementing the Cultural Strategy for the Islamic World, to be held in Khartoum, on 18-19 September 2017, and ISESCO’s participation in the Islamic Summit for Science and Technology, which will be convened in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan, on 10-11 September 2017.
