Markets in the positive region on Wednesday morning

sensex, NSE, BSEMumbai, (IANS) : The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.

The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 28,425.74 points soon shot up and touched a high of 28,477.65 points and a low of 28,373.70 points.

On October 4, the Sensex closed at 28,334.55 points.

The Sensex is trading at 28,414.91 points up by 80.36 points or 0.31 per cent.

On the other hand the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 8,806.35 points after closing at 8,769.15 points,

The Nifty is trading at 8,775.85 points in the morning.
