Nouakchott, (IINA) : Jordanian Prime Minister Hani al-Mulki on Monday met with his Egyptian and Lebanese counterparts Sharif Ismael and Tammam Salam respectively in Nouakchott, as he leads the Jordanian delegation to the Arab summit in the Mauritanian capital.

The meeting with Egyptian PM tackled ways of promoting cooperation between Jordan and Egypt, especially in the economic sphere, Petra News Agency reported. The two prime ministers agreed on an official visit to be carried out in the coming days to Jordan by the Egyptian ministers of trade, industry, tourism, transportation and health and chairman of the Suez Canal Authority to discuss, with their Jordanian counterparts, ways to cement ties and find solutions to standing issues between the two parties.

Al Mulki also discussed with his Lebanese counterpart Salam bilateral relations and coordination regarding the follow-up on results of the London conference to support host countries of Syrian refugees.

In another meeting, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Jawad Anani discussed with Iraq’s foreign minister, ways to facilitate the movement of goods between the two countries, as well as resuming road transportation through the border crossing between Jordan and Iraq.
