Jordan, UAE FMs discuss ties, Mideast issues

Abu Dhabi, (IINA) : Jordanian Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi and United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed, during their meeting here, regional and international developments and Jordanian-UAE ties.

The meeting dealt with prospects to forge broader economic relations and the conditions of the Jordanian community in the Gulf Arab country. Safadi said he valued the UAE’s support to Jordan and noted the outstanding level of relations, Petra reported. For his part, Sheikh Abdullah commended Jordan’s efforts to enhance joint Arab cooperation and achieve peace and stability in the region.

In return, Safadi said Jordan wants to see more enhanced collaboration with the UAE “to serve their common interests and Arab and Islamic issues.”
