Rabat (IINA) : The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) lauded the convening of the Arab Islamic American Summit in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Sunday.
The Organization considered holding the summit in Riyadh as an important initiative to activate international efforts to confront terrorism and violent extremism and disseminate the values of tolerance and coexistence as well as to promote security and stability.
ISESCO Director General Dr. Abdulaziz Altwaijri said that the West and the Muslim world are in dire need today to build a true partnership based on mutual respect, understanding and mutual interests. He said the Islamic world is waiting for the Palestinian cause to be returned to the forefront of the global attention and finding a just solution to it, in addition to ending the suffering of Syrian people.
ISESCO welcomed the summit and commended the great efforts made by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to convene this summit in Riyadh with the participation of 37 heads of state and six prime ministers.
