Rabat (IINA) : Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Dr. Abdulaziz Altwaijri received here on Wednesday Prof. Thierno Kâ, director general of the Islamic Institute of Dakar, which is under the Senegalese Ministry of Education.

Their talks focused mainly on ways to boost cooperation between ISESCO and the Institute in Arabic teaching for foreigners in Senegal and make other African member states benefit from ISESCO’s relevant activities.

It is to be noted that ISESCO had extended support for the publication of a series of books entitled “Arabic: the language of communication”, which is the first educational document adopted by Senegal’s Ministry of Education to help students in public intermediate and high schools develop their abilities in the Arabic language, taking into account of their environmental, social and cultural conditions and educational level.
