Intex unveils new smartphone for multi-taskers at Rs 4,999

IntexNew Delhi, (IANS) : Domestic handset maker Intex Technologies has launched a new smartphone that comes with a faster processor to help users with multi-tasking in an efficient way.

The “Cloud Tread” device which comes with a smart-motion technology to ensure hands-free experience will be exclusively available via flash sale on Snapdeal for Rs 4,999. The 3G-enabled smartphone will be available for pre-orders for consumers on Snapdeal till August 29.

“The Hexa-Core powered Cloud Tread has been prudently crafted on the lines of style with substance,” said Keshav Bansal, Director, Intex Technologies, in a statement.

The phone has a 5-inch HD screen, runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and has a powerful 1.5 GHz Hexa-Core processor.

The phone has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB in-built memory (expandable up to 32GB) and a 2200 mAh battery which can run the device for up to 11 hours and close to 200 hours under standby mode, the company claimed.

Housing 5 MP rear and front camera, the device comes with multiple navigation features such as gesture controls, emergency, rescue, voice capture and slow motion video capture.
