IMEF second entrepreneurs conference in July

PUNE: (Press Release) After successfully hosting First ever Business Networking & Startup Event on February 2016, Indian Muslim Entrepreneurs Forum (IMEF) (Formerly known as IMEN- Indian Muslim Network) to host their second Conference on July 23rd, 2016 at Hotel Aurora Towers Pune, India.

IMEF is new initiative aimed at driving Muslim involvement in India’s startup and technology economy to benefit and support the initiatives taken by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi – Make in India, Digital India, Startup India & Standup India.

The event’s theme is “Be an Entrepreneur…Be a Value Creator”, expressing the vision of the country’s Muslim community becoming more involved in stimulating the business sector and developing opportunities for the next generation.

The first IMEF event attracted 300 plus attendees from India and globe. The participants at the event benefitted by understanding the benefits of the Government policies, Experience & Knowledge sharing.

Tausif Malik, IMEF founder said that “The initiatives undertaken by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi – Make In India, Digital India, Startup India & Standup India have given an opportunity to young Indians to look beyond jobs and jobs security, to be innovators, to be creators and contributors to the economy. IMEF wants to be the bridge to connect the Indian Muslims with these initiatives and contribute back to the motherland INDIA.

Malik, further added that the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) said teaching says that “ Out of ten parts, nine parts of sustenance is in business. In other words, business is the best source of income”.

Anees Kutty, Co-Founder of IMEF said that as an academician, he feels entrepreneurship should be taught of the education process. If one can’t get a job, he doesn’t need to get dejected in life, but should pursue entrepreneurship, it helps creates socio economic activity.

Kutty said that “In Sha Allah the next IMEF event will be held in Kochi, Kerala July 29th, 2016, U.A.E August 29th, 2016, Manchester, UK September, Delhi October 2016, Bangalore November 2016 and Hyderabad December 2016”.
