Aligarh (Press Release): Member of Aligarh Muslim University Executive Council ( EC ) , Prof. Hafiz Mohammad Ilyas has said that ,” the AMU community will not tolerate defamation of AMU by any outsider element .” He was addressing media persons in AMU Guest House on behalf of a group of elected and former EC and Court members .Prof. Ilyas said that ,” calling AMU Vice Chancellor as , ” mafia don ” by FEDCUTA President , Dr. Nandita Narayan is not only an attempt of insulting the office of AMU Vice Chancellor but also a motivated  effort to defame university”.

Dr. Mohammad Shahid , former Secretary of AMUTA & member of EC said that ,” AMUTA must ensure that outside elements are not allowed free hand to damage image of AMU , otherwise we will not allow them to enter in campus .” Dr. Shahid further added that ,” we demand from AMU administration to take legal action against Dr. Nandita Narayan and file  a defation case in court of law .”

Prof. Jamshed Siddiqui , former AMU Proctor & former EC member said that ,” those who are leveling charges of land grabbing by the Vice Chancellor must produce the documentary evidences , if their allegation hold any water .”

Apart of them , Prof. Iqbal Pervez Chairman of Zoology department , Dr.Nafis Ansari Director of Distance Education and some other senior teachers also expressed their resentment on the parliamentary language used by FEDCUTA President against AMU Vice Chancellor.
