Hyderabad IT body signs MoU with TCA
Hyderabad:(IANS) The Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) and Taipei Computer Association (TCA) on Thursday signed an MoU to explore possibilities in developing and enhancing cooperation in information and communication technology projects.
They will explore opportunities of cooperation in development of smart cities, providing skill enablement for increased job opportunities in the ICT segment, such as hi-tech skill training as well as Mandarin language and other such cultural training.
Both associations will facilitate regular, frequent and meaningful exchange of information on relevant aspects of their respective activities and other matters of common interest, according to a statement by HYSEA.
They will mutually facilitate visits and delegations to each other’s country to participate in events and to promote trade and business-to-business activities.
The TCA delegation also expressed keen interest in the working to explore markets for their products, after sales services and skill development activities in India in general and Hyderabad in particular. The other area where they were keen was in technology transfer contracts or open source hardware where Taiwanese companies could supply base technology to local companies, which could then build on them to customise for local requirements.
TCA was represented by Office of Taiwan-India Cooperation director Ihuan Lee and senior officer Joy Chang, senior officer, while for HYSEA, president Ramesh Loganathan, and executive committee members Vijay Rangineni, Murali Bollu and others were present.
“TCA is the leading industrial organization in Taiwan and with its vast reach among the companies engaged in software, hardware, semiconductors and components, manufacture, sales, network communication services etc. ,and we see immense potential for cooperation among our associations,” said Loganathan.
