Al-Falah University organized Job Fair in Delhi
New Delhi: Al-Falah School of Engineering and Technology (AFSET), which was established way back in 1997, which has been given a university status recently, has been doing wonders as a muslim minority institution of repute in the north India region. It has produced more than 25,000 quality graduates till date, spread all across the globe, and has a very good reputation among minorities, especially muslims. Al-Falah University (AFU) has played an active role in the upliftment of muslim minorities by giving them hefty scholarships, be it from its own funds or from the government of India, for that matter. Apart from the engineering courses like BTech and Mtech, AFU also offers courses like MBA, BA, BCom, BSc, BEd, Med which have been running very successfully since their inception. AFU came to know the worth of its graduates when a plethora of top notch companies participated in the job fair held at AFU campus, which is 60 acre lush green campus with the best sporting facilities like a national level cricket ground, a basket ball ground etc. The companies which participated in the February 2016 job fair event included about 21 big companies, of which giants like British Telecom, Accenture, NIIT, Munjal etc were the most prominent ones to name a few.
The job fair was open to all institutes, and the companies hired 124 graduates in total, which was indeed a handful. The event was a huge success. Due to the encouraging response of the companies, AFU again organized a quick campus at its head office in Okhla, New Delhi in the end of April 2016, which resulted in the placement of another 11 employable engineering graduates in companies like Saudi AETCON on a very good package, destined to join the work at Saudi Arabia. Also, 28 students got selected in HI TECH GERAS LTD on a very good profile in April2016 placement drive. Due to the ever increasing demand of the students and alumni both, AFU again is planning a job fair in the month of May so as to give opportunity to the left out students and graduates so as to start a better future by plunging themselves in the knee deep corporate waters. AFU in its strive for success is slowly and gradually becoming an institute which is instilling in minority community a sense of confidence and utmost diligence, especially when it comes to placement after the completion of their courses. Thus AFU is the ray of hope in this dark tunnel of competitiveness, where even people from disadvantaged sections, can come in the mainstream and contribute to the society in positive sense of the word.
