Asian Business Leaders Conclave 2017 to be held in Malaysia

Mumbai, Oct 13: India’s leading business daily The Economic Times is going to organize the 2nd edition of The Economic Times Asian Business Leaders Conclave 2017 (ABLC) on 29th November 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. More than 500 business leaders and government dignitaries from Asian powers like India, China, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, UAE and Taiwan are scheduled to participate in the business summit.

“Building on the successful launch of the inaugural edition of the Asian Business Leaders Conclave, the 2017 edition will take stock of the developments in Asian economy in the last year and act as a melting pot for thought leaders, governments and business leaders to further the cause of greater economic integration between emerging and leading countries in the region. It will also act as a focal point for discussion between ASEAN, India and the Middle East,” said the organizers.

“This year’s edition will feature interactive discussions to enable tangible outcomes and action points for various stakeholders through focused deliberations between torchbearers of Asian economy,” said the esteemed English daily in a communication.

The Asian Business Leaders Conclave 2017 will be discussing various issues including: Role of Financial Sector in Attainment of Inclusive Growth; Global Technology Trends and Online Businesses; Driving Global Investments in Infrastructure; Importance of Higher Education in Global Competitiveness; and Impetus to Asian Sports Industry.

The Kuala Lumpur summit will be held under the patronage and presence of Malaysian Prime Minister Haji Mohd Najib and country’s Minister for International Trade and Industry Mustafa Mohd, besides several chief ministers from India will also feature the event.

After the successful India-UAE Strategic Conclave 2017, held in Dubai on 27-28 September, the Kuala Lumpur event will be the second mega business summit to be organized by The Economic Times in recent months.
