Bihar Entrepreneurs Association organized Bihar StartUp Yatra
Bihar Entrepreneurs Association-बिहार उद्यमी संघ (BEA), in partnership with Dept. of Industries, Govt. of Bihar and World Economic Forum, (WEF) is starting a state wide Start-Up Drive to make an “Enterprising Bihar”. It is being done in partnership with number of funding organizations (covering almost 200 institutions in all the 38 districts targeting 40 thousand interactions with potential entrepreneurs/people/youth with ideas). Support will be provided to do business, start their own venture, to get their ideas executed with detail processes and network will be provided for funding and mentor ship. This is the biggest Entrepreneurship Campaign in the country. They would be able to know how to make a business plan, how to get funding, and sector-wise opportunities in Bihar, statutory licensing, and schemes from Govt.. and Non-Govt. agencies. BEA is working with organization like RBI, SEBI, leading banks and Govt. to make an Enterprising Bihar. It has many National and International tie-ups to achieve this objective.
In 2014, The 1st Bihar Start-Up Yare was done in Patna Science College by the Hon. Minister of Industries, Govt. of Bihar and Vice Chancellor-Patna University. There were more than 400 participants with 36 ideas submitted and some of them are under mentorship. Patna Science College has offered BEA incubation Centre in its premises and the space has been identified. Second destination was in VidyaVihar Institute of Technology, Purnea with more than 400 participants and 78 ideas. Third Start-Up Yatra was done in Gaya College, Gaya. The Event was inaugurated by Hon. Minister of Industries, Govt. of Bihar. There was a humongous turnout for the Event & thus it can be quoted that BSY Gaya was yet another success story of BEA. Fourth Start-up Yatra was done in D.N.S Regional Institute of Cooperative Management Govt. of India.
In 2015, The 7th Bihar Start-Up Yatra was done in Magadh Mahila College, again by the Hon. Minister of Industries, Govt. of Bihar. Then it was yatra was done in many other districts.
In 2016, The 20th Bihar Start-Up Yatra was done in Birla Institute Technology, Patna by the Hon. Minister of Industries, Govt. of Bihar, and many technological start-ups, Ideas, tie-ups were made with an audience of 600 participants. 21st BSY was in Motihari and 22nd at Bhagalpur College of Engineering, Bhagalpur.
We are organizing Bihar Start-Up Yatra in all the colleges and educational institutes of Bihar to help the young entrepreneurs in starting business, entrepreneur toolkit and support them and providing them business opportunity.
As per order of Industries Department Govt..of Bihar letter no. 2552, General manager of District Industries Centre is invited in Bihar Startup Yatra, Siwan on 8th May 2016, to support the programme.
