Sudan, Belarus sign agreement on energy cooperation
Khartoum : Sudan on Wednesday signed a cooperation protocol with Belarus in the field of energy between the two countries.
The agreement was signed by Sudanese Minister of Oil and Gas Abdul-Rahman Osman and Belarusian Energy Minister Vladimir Potupchik, who is currently visiting Sudan.
The protocol covers oil services, manufacturing and supplying of oil excavators, seismic survey and drilling tools, manufacturing of natural gas storage units and networks, in addition to cooperation in the areas of petroleum resources trade, training and rehabilitation, research, generating electricity, and designing and rehabilitation of thermal power plants.
