Mumbai: ( Press Release) The national level Arabic Language Elocution Competition among various university and madrasa students below age 24 only, has brought one more hieghts today to Markazul Ma’arif Education and Research Centre, Mumbai which is originally imparting English language education to madrasa graduates. Two of its three students who participated in the national competition, Fuzail Ahmad and Asif Mehtar, are among the winners as they placed themselves among the top ten. Hundreds of students from DU, JNU, JMI, AMU, Nadwa and other universities and madaris have participated in it.

The competition was organised by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Embassy in India to mark its Arabic Language month with collaboration from various Arabic Language organisations in India and Departments of Arabic Language in central universities on 21 and 22 April (Friday and Saturday) 2017 at Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi.

There were only two categories of winners – top 10 winners who got cash prize 1000 Saudi Riyals each along with trophy and certificate and 2nd 10 runners-ups who got 500 Saudi Riyals each with trophy and certificate. Both the MMERC students who traveled from Mumbai with their Arabic Language Teacher Mufti Jaseemuddin Qasmi to participate in the final round of competition are among the winners as they are among top ten.

MMERC Alumni community in Delhi are happy, some of them were present in the hall to cheer the students. Messages of congratulations from MMERC Community across the world to Fuzail, Asif and MMERC Mumbai is still continuied. MMERC is a premier institution for madrasa graduates founded and conceptualized by Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, CEO Ajmal CSR and Lok Sabha MP from Assam.
