The 13th summit, whose global information partner is the Anadolu Agency, is aimed at strengthening trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties between Russia and the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, speaking at the opening of the Russia Halal Expo 2022 exhibition organized as part of the summit, said that the event was organized as part of the efforts of the Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group.

According to him, the summit, revealing the economic opportunities and investment potential of Tatarstan, is a good platform for establishing new ties.

The key topic of the business program of the XIII International Economic Summit “Russia – Islamic World: KazanSummit 2022” is the sharing economy and the common good of halal.

Also on the agenda of the summit are Islamic finance and partner banking, the halal industry, youth diplomacy, export development, entrepreneurship and investment.

As part of the event, the following events were organized: the exhibition Russia Halal Expo 2022, the Machine-Building Cluster Forum, the World Halal Day and events dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgaria.

Among the traditional events of the summit are the Forum of Young Entrepreneurs of the OIC Countries, the Forum of Young Diplomats of the OIC Countries, SberTalk – a multimodal offline discussion platform with representatives of government and business, where real problems of the financial sector are discussed.

In addition, 10 shows of modest fashion designers will be held today at Kazan Expo.

Modest fashion is a promising direction in the fashion industry, which reflects the new aesthetics of decency and modernity.

A business program is also presented at Modest Fashion Day: well-known Russian and foreign experts will discuss measures to support talented designers.
