Over 90,000 sacrificial animals slaughtered in Makkah on first day of Eid Al-Adha

halal-cow-goat-animals-slaughtered-in-makkah-eidMakkah (IINA) : The number of sacrificial animals slaughtered in Makkah slaughterhouses on the first day of Eid Al-Adha accounted for 93,000.

Director General of slaughterhouses at Makkah Municipality Dr. Saud bin Mohammed Al-Hitairshi said the capacity of each of the three main slaughterhouses in Makkah has been raised to about 8,000 heads per hour, to meet the increasing demand.

He also confirmed that municipality’s inspection teams are doing their best in slaughterhouses for the safety and health of the citizens and expatriates.
