Preston City, England (IINA) : Head of the Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques and Imam of the Grand Mosque in Makkah Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais opened recently the Mosque and School of Al-Salam (Peace) in the city of Preston, United Kingdom.

Sheikh Al-Sudais thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the crown prince and the deputy crown prince for their interest in all matters supporting the issues of Muslims all over the world, Arab News reported.

He appreciated the efforts, keenness and interest of Prince Muhammad bin Nawwaf, Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom, in the mosque and the school, stressing the importance of the mosque in disseminating the message of Islam and its impact on enhancing security, peace and love being cherished by all nations and peoples.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees Ilyas Patel expressed his thanks to King Salman for his approval of their request for the participation of Sheikh Al-Sudais in the opening event, stressing that this approval demonstrates the Kingdom’s keenness on taking care of the issues of Muslims and dispatching of imams of the Two Holy Mosques for participation in such events.
