Jamia Hamdard retains the First Rank in India in Pharmacy in NIRF Rankings-2022

New Delhi: The Hon’ble Union Minister of Education, Govt. of India Shri Dharmendra Pradhan announced the annual rankings of education institutions under the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)-2022 on 15th July 2022. It is a matter of great pride for Jamia Hamdard that it retains top rank in Pharmacy institution category in NIRF-2022.  Jamia Hamdard maintained the top position in Pharmacy for the fourth consecutive year. Jamia Hamdard is on 45th position in University Category and 74th in Overall Category. Its ranking in the ‘Medical’ category is 33. For the first time Jamia Hamdard has secured a place in top 100 ‘Management’ institutions. Janab Hammad Ahmed, Chancellor and Prof. (Dr.) M. Afshar Alam, Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Hamdard congratulated Dean, School of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Prof. (Dr.) Vidhu Aeri; Registrar, Mr. S.S. Akhtar; Director, IQAC and Research and Development Cell, Prof. (Dr.) Raisuddin and their core NIRF Team, all the faculty members, students and staff members for this big achievement.

Prof. Afshar Alam after receiving the certificate and trophy from the Union Minister expressed his happiness that Jamia Hamdard has maintained its top rank in ‘Pharmacy’ for the fourth consecutive year. He also urged all stakeholders of Jamia Hamdard to make concerted efforts to maintain the top position. He also mentioned that Jamia Hamdard has got a place in top 100 ‘Management’ institutions for the first time in NIRF. He hoped that with similar efforts Jamia Hamdard will get a high grade in NAAC accreditation. Prof. Alam also thanked the Hamdard National Foundation (India) – HECA for its continued support to Jamia Hamdard in all quality initiatives.
