New Delhi: Women India Movement, (WIM), vice president Mrs. Kumkum Ben in a statement has emphasized that, while people are deeply troubled by the Corona virus pandemic in the country due to the worsening situation, the arrests of ant-CAA campaign activists and students is beyond reproach. Therefore, she accused the Delhi police that such a spirit of revenge will not be tolerated.

Mrs. Ben said that the protesting against the wrong policies and wrong decisions of the government is the Constitutional rights of the people and no one can take away this right from them. She also said that why the Delhi police does not take any action against Anurag Thakur and Kapil Mishra who are guilty of provoking riots in North East Delhi by their most hateful statements. Doesn’t this prove that it is a well planned conspiracy against the minorities, she questioned?

She said that at present, the whole world is united to fight the COVID-19. Scientists from all over the world are working day and night to make it’s vaccine but politics is being done under the guise of lockdown in our country. Anti-CAA protesters from all over the country are being selectively arrested exposing the politics of hate.

Mrs. Ben said at this time, people are disturbed all over the country, especially migrant workers and students, who are stuck in other states. While police are arresting the protesters and activists and no one can come forward to help them in this situation because the whole country has been stopped from all kinds of activities.

Therefore, WIM has urged the Central government to take action against poison spewing leaders and drop all charges against students and activists.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Ben pointed out that on the other hand construction work of Ram temple in Ayodhya is going on a very fast pace. Will the government answer that when all the work in the country is completely closed why the work of Ram temple is going o? Does it not seem to be the part of any kind of dirty politics, she wondered?
