All India Muslim Personal Law Board Women’s wing work shop at Saboo Siddiq Musafir Khana in Mumbai

Mumbai (Press Release) Womens wing All India Muslim Personal Law Board organised a one day work shop on 22nd January 2017 at  Saboo Siddiq Musafir Khana from 10 am to 5 pm.

The workshop was attended by teachers, doctors, lawyers , intellectual ladies , social workers and counsellors from Mumbai city , Pune , Khopoli,Dhuliya, Nanded , Aurangabad and other districts of Maharashtra.

Workshop started with  Recitation of the Holy Quraan. The important points of Muslim Personal law such as NIKAH, MEHR, TALAQ ,KHULA, NAFQA, IDDAT, WASIYAT, WAQF, HIBA etc.were explained by Mrs Zakia Fareed sheikh with powerpoint presentation.

Dr Asma Zehra  Chief Organiser Womens Wing explained the Importance of following SHARIAH in individual and collective life. She said the sources of Shariah are in Quraan and Hadith. It is our important duty of Muslims both men and women to understand the basis of Shariah. There are two ways of protection of Muslim personal law one by clarifying the misconceptions spread in media second by trying to implement it in the Muslim society. The laws are simple practical and a mercy to all. Our creator Allah swt has given a complete code of life which leads to success in both the worlds.

She stressed on the need of awareness in the Muslim society about the rules of Marriage. Muslim women must come forward and explain the rights they enjoy in Muslim personal law,

Moulana Khaleelurrahmann Sajjad Nomani sahib member executive committee gave the special address saying that Social Issues and Problems need to be addressed with care and seriousness. The husband and wife must be aware of their rights and responsibilities and fear Allah in fulfilling their duties. All laws of Shariate Islami have an important component of Fear of Allah and Akhlaaq Morals.

Without proper Moral teachings only laws will not benefit the society. Shariah laws give a complete framework of happy life for men and women in both the Worlds.

Moulana Mahmud Daryabadi explained the importance of countering the attacks on Muslim personal laws through proper debate and dialogue.

PresidentAll India Muslim Personal Law Board Moulana Rabe Husni Nadwi sahib sent an address to the participants of the workshop. He complemented the organisers for making efforts to clarify misunderstandings.
