How Delhi’s gearing up to combat pollution during stubble burning season

Despite a ban on stubble burning in the neighbouring states of Punjab and Haryana, farmers continue to burn stubble in the fields between the harvesting of paddy and the sowing of wheat, which contributes heavily to the pollution enveloping Delhi during the winter season. This year also both the states have recorded incidents of stubble burning.
