Djibouti (IINA) : Djiboutian Minister of Economy and Finance in charge of Industry Ilyas Moussa Dawaleh signed a finance agreement worth $9 million with Vice President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Gabriel Negatu, to fund the building of a typical hospital in the capital city, Djibouti.
Contributors to financing this project include the Islamic Development Bank ($60 million) and the government of Djibouti ($11 million). The total cost of the project is estimated at $90 million, Al Qarn local newspaper reported Thursday.
Dawaleh expressed appreciation of the Djiboutian government for the efforts of the African Development Bank, underlining that the construction project of this hospital will contribute to expanding the capacity as well as promoting the coverage and improving the performance of health care centers in Djibouti.
