by | May 25, 2021

Creative Aurvana Air headphonesBy Anuj Sharma,

New Delhi, (IANS) : Be it a travel, business or leisure trip, music is our true companion. Here comes Singapore-based Creative’s latest Aurvana active noise-cancellation (ANC) headphone that will rescue you from a noisy surrounding on the go and provide a rich listening experience.

Priced at Rs 10,999, the Aurvana ANC headphone is equipped with multi-mic active noise-cancellation, inline microphone and remote and has a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz (normal range).

Let us see what works for the device.

Aurvana ANC falls under the over-ear (circumaural) class of headphones, having earpads that surround the ears in order to seal you against the outside noise.

When it comes to looks, the ear cups come with a polished chrome-finish, lined with a tinge of classic blue that looks premium. At first glimpse, the headphone may look heavy but pick it and you will see how light ot is.

The ultra-lightweight design and comfortable plush leatherette memory foam ear padding does not strain the ears even if you wear it for long.

On melodious tracks like “Titanium” by singer David Guetta featuring dance club-style beats, the headphone produced appreciable amount of bass and sounded fuller and bright.

The 40mm Neodymium magnet drivers at the core of headphones managed to maintain the low, mid- and high-frequency music components without allowing them to overshadow one another.

On electronic instrumental theme tracks like “Axel F” by Harold Faltmeryer, the headphone sounded rich.

If you are travelling, the multi-mic active noise-cancellation technology blocks most of the outside noise, be it rumbling of the train or the sound of a jet engine.

The noise-cancellation feature only works when the headphone is powered by an AAA battery, which is to be inserted into the right headphone ear-cup and delivers up to 40 hours of music playback.

When you turn on the ANC, the sound is certainly better than normal as it increases loudness to give a more immersive experience.

To ensure that headphone will last longer, the company has given a replaceable cable design. The cable is also braided and so it is not going to break or loop off.

The Aurvana ANC headphone comes with a hard travel case.

What does not work?

Although the headphone blocks outside noise, it leaks sound when listening to music at fuller volumes.

Conclusion: If you are looking for headphone that delivers balanced sound, is lightweight and cancels out outside noise, then Creative Aurvana ANC is your true companion.
