Jamia Hamdard Ranked at 10th Position in India in Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2023

New Delhi, Oct 15,2022:  It is a matter of great pride that Jamia Hamdard has been ranked in the 601 to 800 ranking band among 1799 world Universities in Times Higher Education World University Ranking (WUR) 2023. It is a significant jump from 1001-1200 of the last year. Jamia Hamdard is at the 10th  position in India amongst all universities/institutions ranked  by the Times Higher Education.

Janab Hammad Ahmed, Chancellor and Prof. (Dr.) M. Afshar Alam, Vice-Chancellor, Jamia Hamdard congratulated all faculty members, Registrar, Mr. S. S. Akhtar; Director, IQAC, Prof. (Dr.) Raisuddin and Ranking Team, students and staff for this big achievement.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) M. Afshar Alam thanked all stakeholders of Jamia Hamdard for their efforts. He hoped that with similar efforts Jamia Hamdard will get a high grade in NAAC accreditation due this year. Prof. Alam also thanked the Hamdard National Foundation (India) – HECA for its continued support to Jamia Hamdard in all initiatives.

Earlier in NIRF 2022 Jamia Hamdard has secured First Rank in Pharmacy. Times Higher Education World University Ranking at a higher position in another feather in its cap.
