Dubai, (IINA) : UAE-based Dubai Cares, which is part of Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Global Initiatives, addressed some of Egypt’s most pressing challenges surrounding female education to help nurture a new generation of leaders through a $2,000,000, program, WAM reported.
Titled “Ensuring Supportive and Safe Quality Education for Girls in Egypt,” the initiative represents Dubai Cares’ first contribution to the country.
The three-year program reflects the need for inclusivity and empowerment, an enhanced school environment, development of teaching methods, as well as revision of school curricula by providing quality education that prepares young people for a fruitful and fulfilling future.
In addition, it also aims to improve the standard of education for 15,000 students and to ensure they have a safe and engaging environment to learn throughout Upper Egypt’s Assiut, Beni Suief, and Minya governorates.
It will also adopt a multi-faceted approach to achieve its objectives by cultivating the leadership skills of girls through extracurricular activities and sports. This will enable them to put their expertise into practice through participation in student unions.
