WhatsApp is back online after worldwide breakdown

After several hours of suffering a worldwide breakdown, instant messaging app, Whatsapp is finally back.

The popular messaging application left millions of users stranded after virtually going offline on Wednesday night for close to 3hours.

The popular messaging app was reported to be malfunctioning, and won’t allow users to connect to their chat messages.

Hundreds of users worldwide took to social media to announce the inconveniences the problem had caused them.

So far the company, based in California, has not commented on the situation.

Over a billion people are believed to rely on the Facebook-owned app for messaging.
