Cairo (IINA) : The Arab League Council will hold a consultative meeting on Syria at the level of permanent representatives at the League’s headquarters on Wednesday, in the presence of Deputy UN Special Envoy to Syria Ambassador Ramzy Ezzeldin Ramzy.

An Arab diplomatic source said that Ramzy will brief the permanent representatives, during the meeting, on the latest developments in Syria, in light of recent developments, particularly the recently announced ceasefire agreement.

The Permanent representatives will also listen to a briefing by Ambassador Ramzy on international and UN efforts to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis, so as to stem Syria’s bloodshed.
