Sheikh Faizal Manjoo is Joint CEO of Islamic Finance Jurists Limited and a member of the Shari’ah Boards of multinational conglomerates including Hannover Re. He is considered as an international conferencier and has been conferred with numerous awards for his contribution to the Islamic finance industry globally.

As a lawyer, Sheikh Faizal has submitted legal opinions to the High Court in South Africa and presented documentation to the Law Commission on Islamic law. He is founding member of the Muslim Mediation and Arbitration Council as well the Muslim Lawyers Association, thus playing an important role in the contextualisation and harmonisation of Islamic finance and law within international framework.

Sheikh Faizal has a confluence of three disciplines that has gained him international recognition, namely Shari’ah, law and finance.
