Workshop on “Sukuk and Islamic Liquidity Management” set to begin in Istanbul

Istanbul, (IINA) : A workshop on “Sukuk and Islamic Liquidity Management” is set to kick off on Monday in Istanbul.The Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), Istanbul School of Central Banking (İMB), and the World Bank Global Islamic Finance Development Center in Turkey, are jointly organizing the event.

SESRIC noted that the two-day workshop aims to provide a platform for the participants from central banks and other policy institutions to discuss practices and share respective country experiences on the development of Sukuk and liquidity management of Islamic financial institutions (IFIs).

The workshop will include, Sukuk Structures and Securitization, Regulation and Supervision of Sukuk Markets, Liquidity Management and Sukuk Markets, International Sovereign Sukuk Market, Current Practices and Country Experiences on Sukuk and Islamic Liquidity Management.

This workshop is designed for officials and economists from central banks and related policy institutions who are interested in the instrument of Sukuk and liquidity management issues of Islamic financial services.
