• Magnificence performance of Music, Art, Craft, Cuisine and Culture took place from 10 am to 10pm for 12 days.
• This 40th “Hunar Haat” was inaugurated by the Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting and Sports & Youth Affairs Shri Anurag Thakur on 17th April. On this occasion the Union Minister of Minority Affairs and Deputy Leader, Rajya Sabha, Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi; Shri Prakash Javadekar, former Union Minister and Rajya Sabha MP; Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Lok Sabha MP Mr. Gopal Shetty here; Lok Sabha MP Shri Rahul Shewale; Lok Sabha MP Shri Manoj Kotak; Shri Pravin Darekar, Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Council; MLA Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha; MLA Shri Ashish Shelar and other public representatives and senior officials of Central and State Governments were present.
• Mumbai Hunar Haat had 25 lakh visitors including a lot of foreigners.
Visitors encouraged the artisans, craftsmen, artisans from all corners of the country by purchasing indigenous products on a large scale. Along with the common people, a large number of MPs, MLAs and other public representatives and dignitaries also came to the “Hunar Haat”.
• About one thousand artisans, craftsmen and artisans from 31 states and union territories of the country participated.
• The artisans and craftsmen got the mass order.
• Hunar Haat” is strengthening Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for “Vocal for Local” and “Self-reliant India”.
• Under “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”, 10 thousand kg of garbage was composted daily and gifts were given to people by making compost.
• “Hunar Haat” has provided employment and self-employment opportunities to more than nine lakh fifty thousand artisans and craftsmen. and it has more than 50 % women artisans.
• Estimated to provide employment and employment opportunities to 27 lakh people by 75th “Hunar Haat”

• Various song-music programs in grand mega show and laser light show memorable of “Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav”
• The present senior officers of the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs, who were “success companions” of “Hunar Haat” and former officers working in the ministry and famous artists of the country were also honored.
